Hailing from a small hamlet about 40 minutes north of Manchester, music has been a constant thread in my life. From an early age, it wasn’t just something I listened to - it became a way of making sense of the world around me.
What began as a lighthearted audition - singing “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” for a spot at the Blackburn Cathedral Music School in the early 2000s - ended up setting me on a path I’ve been following ever since.
12 years later, in 2012, I left for a new challenge - to obtain my Bachelor’s Degree in Music Production from Leeds Conservatoire. I was lucky enough to work under the tutelage of some of the industry’s most respected professionals, from engineers straight out of Abbey Road, to friends and colleagues who taught me the fundamental values of navigating through these somewhat turbulent waters of the music industry.
Over the years, I’ve explored, studied, performed, and produced music across a wide range of genres. Yet, no matter how far I wandered, I always seemed to return to my creative home at the piano.
While I’ve always strived for perfection within my recordings, it's in the imperfections that I capture that I've now come to embrace. The subtle sound of hammers hitting the strings or the piano keys clinking against one another in the quieter sections of a piece. It is within these humanistic blemishes in my music that I now find comfort.
Thanks for checking out my music, and taking the time to find yourself on this page!
